Some things to remember: 

  • Bring proof of current rabies vaccination (rabies certificate) 
  • Appropiate license fee-exact cash or checks only. Please make checks payable to Pottawattamie County Treasurer 
  • Proof of spay/neuter (if applicable) 
  • All dogs 6 months and older must be licensed 
  • Late fees will be applied starting Feb 15th, 2024

License renewal can be quick and easy with our Citizen Serve online portal.
